Classes and Sessions

Children can attend a variety and combination of both morning and afternoon sessions (dependent upon waiting lists). As they get older they begin attending a variety of the afternoon sessions available. We prefer that children attend a minimum of 3 morning sessions.

We provide children with a varied and nutritious morning tea. Children who are staying for lunch provide their own food (nuts and nut products are not allowed).

Morning Sessions

Offered in both the Kowhai and Māwhero classes; 8.45 AM to 12.00 noon 5 days a week (1.15pm finish on Mondays).

Children aged 2 1/2  to 6 years of age.
The Montessori programme is followed with children choosing freely from the shelves and working independently or in small groups.
The ratio is 4 teachers to 40 children overall.
